Após chuvas extremamente fortes na região do sul de México, acabaram por inundar a cidade de Tabasco. Equipa da Secretaria da Marinha (SEMAR), começaram a fazer resgates e salvamentos pela cidade de bote.
Entretanto, os funcionários encontraram este cão agarrado a uma varanda de uma casa, com o olhar mais triste de sempre (veja no vídeo logo em baixo).

Demitrio Feria, um dos membros que encontrou o cachorro comenta “Encontramos o cão triste e assustado. De-mos serviço médico de um veterinário. Ele estava cheio de fome, dava vontades de chorar de o ver nesse estado. Foi um sentimento muito grande poder te-lo salvo.”
Felizmente, dias depois de este resgate a equipa da SEMAR decidiu adota-lo e com que fosse novo membro da equipa da Secretaria da Marinha de México.
Esta foi uma das piores inundações na cidade de Tabasco em México desde há 50 anos, afetando mais de 300,000 pessoas.
No vídeo podemos ver a Marinha a conquistar a confiança do canino, acariciando primeiro a cabeça.
Eventualmente, sem muita conquista, o cão cedeu logo para o barco onde de imediato se secou, e começou a fazer barulho de emoção. Conseguiu-se ver que estava muito agradecido e feliz pelo resgate, especialmente com o seu abanar da cauda.
